Lyudmila A. Nizovtsova

Lyudmila Nizovtsova was born on June 25, 1943 in Kirov, RSFSR.

In 1967 she graduated from Minsk state medical Institute.

In 1969 she was trained in the specialty "radiology". Then for 7 years Lyudmila worked as a radiologist of the Department of thoracic surgery of the Children's surgical center of the Ministry of health of the BSSR. Here, in addition to traditional x-ray diagnostics, catheterization and angiographic studies of the heart, Nizovtsova was engaged in the use of long-term selective infusion of drugs in staphylococcal lung destruction.

In 1977-1993 she worked as a senior researcher, head of the laboratory of radiation cardiology of the Belarusian research Institute of cardiology. Moreover, from 1988 to 1993, Lyudmila arsenievna led the shift work of the cardiological teams of the Belarusian research Institute of cardiology in the territories affected by the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear power Plant.

In 1982 she defended her thesis on "large-Frame fluorography in cardiac screening".

In 1991 she defended her doctoral dissertation on "Unified cardio radiological research in the diagnosis, evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment and prognosis of coronary heart disease".

In 1994-1996 she was Deputy chief physician of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

From 1996 to the present time Lyudmila Nizovtsova is a Professor of the Department of radiology of the Russian medical Academy of continuing professional education and a scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, as well as a leading researcher of the Scientific and practical center of medical radiology of the Department of health of Moscow. Professor Nizovtsova manages the cycles of thematic improvement, professional retraining and methodical work at the Department, is the author of many educational and test programs, as well as one of the authors of the program of monitoring the state of the radiology Department Of the Department of health of Moscow.

Under the guidance of Professor Nizovtsova annually pass introductory cycles for residents of the first year of training of the departments of radiology of medical Universities in Moscow.

In 2002, Lyudmila Nizovtsova was awarded the title of Professor. Under the leadership of Lyudmila Nizovtsova defended 5 PhD theses, received 2 patents for inventions. Lyudmila arsenievna is the author of more than 150 publications on the use of instrumental diagnostic methods in cardiology, including the use of x-ray techniques in mass cardiac screening. Her first work was published in 1972.

Professor Nizovtsova is A member of the Presidium and the Board of education of the Moscow Association of medical radiologists. The total experience of her work is 46 years, 44 of them - in the field of radiation diagnosis.
