Professor Morozov is the author of a number of scientific areas in radiation diagnostics. Under his leadership, modern diagnostic methods for primary tumors and tumor-like diseases of the spine in children and adults have been developed and introduced into everyday clinical practice.
The research algorithm, semiotics and the principles of differential diagnosis of vertebrogenic pain syndrome have been developed. Indications and methods for providing minimally invasive surgical interventions using computed tomography in children with primary tumors and inflammatory diseases have been developed, which significantly reduced the length of hospital stay of children and accelerated rehabilitation. Research data has been introduced into clinical practice in the form of three copyright certificates and medical technology.
In addition to scientific and clinical research Morozov. a lot of work has been done to introduce into clinical practice modern methods of radiation diagnostics, such as digital radiography, X-ray densitometry, multispiral computed tomography, low, medium and high-field magnetic resonance imaging, digital angiography.
Professor Morozov trained scientific personnel - 8 candidates of medical sciences.
Aleksander Morozov is the author of 295 scientific publications. The author of the monograph "X-ray diagnosis of primary tumors and tumor-like diseases of the spine" (2004). They are protected by their PhD thesis “Clinical and X-ray Characterization of Bone Chondroblastoma” (1987) and the doctoral dissertation “Primary tumors and tumor-like diseases of the spine (clinical and radiological diagnosis)” (1998).
