
Aleksander Bryukhanov was born on July 18, 1968. He graduated from the Altai state medical Institute in 1993 with honors. Since September 1996-associate Professor, and since September 1999-Professor of the Department of radiology and radiotherapy of the Altai state medical University. Since September 1999, he has been appointed head of the Department of magnetic resonance imaging of the Diagnostic center. Since August 2002, he has been working as a Deputy chief physician of the Regional state budget institution "Diagnostic center of the Altai territory" for the medical part.
Since 2001 he is head of the Department of radiology and endoscopy of the faculty of Altai state medical University. He is the Chairman of the regional scientific and production certification Council for radiology, Chairman of the regional Association of radiologists of the Altai territory. He is the author of more than 250 publications, including 3 monographs, 4 teaching AIDS. His main research interests are radiation diagnostics, magnetic resonance imaging in osteology, arthrology, rheumatology. Magnetic resonance imaging in gynecological diseases.

The academic degree of candidate of medical Sciences was awarded by the dissertation Council of Altai state medical University and approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in 1996.
Thesis of doctor of medical Sciences on "Magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis of diseases of the joints." The degree of doctor of medical Sciences was awarded by the dissertation Council of the medical radiological scientific center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation in 1999.
Under the leadership of Aleksander Bryukhanov 6 PhD theses were defended. Participated and made presentations at more than 60 scientific conferences and congresses in Vienna (Austria), Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, etc. on the basis of the Altai state medical University participated in the organization of 14 scientific conferences, including two all-Russian scientific conferences with international participation "Topical issues of radiation diagnosis of diseases of the bone and joint system" in 2005 and 2007.
