Tatiana Balakhonova, graduated from Sechenov University with honors, the last certificate in ultrasound diagnostics received in 2015, work experience more than 30 years. He is a leading specialist in the Russian Federation in the field of ultrasound angiology, supervising this direction in the Executive Committee of the Russian Association of ultrasound diagnostics specialists in medicine.

Member of the European society of specialists in ultrasound diagnostics in medicine, European society of cardiology (ESC), European Association for the visualization of the heart and blood vessels (EACVI). He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Russian scientific society for the study of atherosclerosis (RNA). Author of more than 250 scientific publications in leading publications, including foreign ones. Under the leadership of T. V. Balakhonova 14 candidate and one doctoral dissertations were defended. Author of 5 patents of the Russian Federation.
