Shirinsho Sh. Shotemur

Shirinsho Shotemur – known radiologist, candidate of medical Sciences. Shirinsho was born in 1932 in Chekhov, not far from Moscow. More than 50 years he worked in one of the famous hospitals Botkina, was the head of the Department of radiology and tomography.

In 1950 he entered the 1st medical Institute Sechenov. In 1956 he graduated from the Institute. Shirinsho Shotemur distributed in the village of Berry Magadan region, which was a district center. There he received additional training in the field of x-ray diagnostics and worked in the Yagodinsky district hospital as a radiologist. In the Yagodinsky district hospital of the Magadan region, he worked for five years. In 1961 he entered the post-graduate school Of the Central order of Lenin Institute of advanced medical training.

In 1964, he graduated from graduate school and in 1967 defended his thesis entitled "the experience of clinical, radiological and tomographic compared with acute pneumonia." After post-graduation Shirinsho Shotemur left to work at the same Department, as an assistant. In 1974 he was awarded the title of associate Professor.

After graduate school he worked in the 5th city hospital in Moscow, then moved to The state clinical hospital Botkina, in which he worked until 2012, his 80th anniversary.

Shirinsho Shotemur has published more than 120 publications and 2 monographs. Shirinsho Shotemur member of the editorial Board of the journal "Vestnik of roentgenology and radiology". Shirinsho Shotemur translated 7 books from European languages.
