Yuri N. Kasatkin is a famous scientist in the field of nuclear medicine, the pioneer of introducing and using scintigraphy methods in domestic clinical practice. As a talented organizer and teacher, he headed the Department of Medical Radiology at the Central Institute for Advanced Medical Studies for 35 years and was the its Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. He made a great contribution to the formation of a postgraduate training system for specialists in radionuclide diagnostics and healthcare in general. The individual components of this organizational and pedagogical work are considered in this work.
